Art is many things to many people. For me, art is therapy, and after I began trying to live more in the unclouded reality a few years ago, I needed a lot of therapy, and probably still do.
I began painting in high school, several decades ago now, but stopped for many years in the late 1980′s. In 2004 I was persuaded to pick up my brushes again and painted quite a bit for several years thereafter, until it seems I painted myself out.
Here are a few of what I consider the best paintings to come out of that period of my life. Perhaps someday there will be more.
This painting is titled, Dancing Shaman.
…
Here’s another, called Resurrection.
…
One of my largest works, Soulstice.
…
This is an Untitled piece, painted on a large found board.
…
Sometimes I paint realistic, though imaginary scenes.
This one is called Sunset Meadow.
…
Other landscapes are a bit, Outlandish.
…
Among my later paintings are this one called, Gateway,
…
and this one, called Mare Desiderii or Sea of Dreams.
