That reminds me of a conversation I had with my grandmother once.
She lived on Guam when she was a military brat. She made fun of the Guamanians because “they did NOTHING before the U.S. got there!”
To which I replied, “They were on Guam. Why would they have needed to DO anything?”
Hell yeah! What a life! Swim around, eat fish, talk and joke with your fellow dolphins (they seem to have language, even names), play in the waves, race boats, beat up sharks… Dolphins are also one of the few animals that have sex for fun, so, you know, one wouldn’t have to give that up.
