I don’t know much about Jimmy Hoffa, and I suspect most of what I’ve heard is skewed and misleading at best. The friend who posted this video on Facebook says he has come to believe what, “Hoffa really intended was a Teamsters Union patterned after the IWW.”
If that was indeed the case, it would explain the mountain of propaganda surrounding Hoffa’s life and legacy. We need a radical, revolutionary union like the old IWW more today than ever before.
I need to go out back and tell Jimmy that it’s his birthday. He hasn’t gotten out of our house much these last few decades…
